Great Granny Birthday

Time really flies, we just celebrated Great Granny Birthday last year & now we are celebrating for her again. This year we had our dinner at a newly open G7 seafood restaurant at Tiong Bahru. The food there was delicious & service also quite good. We spent total amount of $300++ so end up each other us was entitled to join their memeber for free.

6th day in School - 9 Jan 09

I had fun today in school & I only cried for 2mins this morning after Daddy left me. I had 1 serving of bread with nutella and 1 serving of fried brown rice vermicelli and little bit of watermelon. I enjoyed today's activity, show 'N' tell, topic "Toothbrush". I showed teacher how I brush my teeth during show 'N' tell activity. During outdoor activity, I managed to climb up the "gym" outdoor.

I didn't cry throughout the day but I cried the moment I saw grandma came to fetch me....

5th day in school - 8 Jan 09

I cried in the morning when daddy leave me but I only cried for 5 mins and I stop because I know that grandma will come to fetch me in the afternoon. I ate half serving of cream bread for breakfast today and 2 serving of dory fish congee with spinach for lunch.

Today I did "press painting" for my art activity together with teacher and friends...I enjoyed it so much, you can see the picture of me doing my art work....messy...

I'm doing better each day here in school!

4th day in School - 7 Jan 09

I cried this morning when daddy leave me, however, I stop crying when teacher carry me and talk to me. For breakfast, I choose to have my own biscuit that mummy packed for me instead of red bean pau that teacher offered me. I still cried on and off when I think of mummy and daddy but I know I'll be fine.

During free time, teacher blow bubbles for children to play. I enjoyed catching bubbles and pop it! And during Chinese lesson, we did music and movement and flashcard as well. I managed to sat down together with my friends and enjoyed the activity.

I had 1 serving of rice with chicken soup for lunch and a little bit of honeydew. Changing time! I knew its time for me to get change and I managed to sat down and wait for my turn and also I able to sat down patiently and wait for my grandma to come...

3rd day in School - 6 Jan 09

Today was my first independent day in school... I did not cry when daddy leave me this morning. But I cried for awhile when I think of mummy and daddy, however, I managed to stop when teacher talked to me and I know I will be fine. I only ate a little bit of banana muffin during breakfast as i'm not use to it yet. I went outdoor to play with teachers and friends after having breakfast. I enjoyed outdoor so much, I even can smile for the camera when teacher took picture of me.

I enjoyed cookery lesson today, we made "Lime Juice". I managed to join the class for activity even though I'm not familiar with the songs yet but I'm able to join the class and have fun with my friends. As for Lunch today, I had 1 serving of kway teow and few bites of banana.

Mummy and Daddy... I'm doing fine here in school and I enjoyed playing with my teachers and friends. Attached were the photos of me in school. HAPPY VIEWING!

2nd day in school - 5th Jan 2009

Mummy took 2 days childcare leave to settle me in school & today will be the last day. Teachers advised mummy to accompany me the most for 2 days so that I can get use to the environment as quickly as possible.

Today we reached school very early cox daddy need to work. We arrived at around 7:30am & we only saw 1 student sitting quietly at one corner playing with her toy. We didnt see Kaizer in school, guess mummy Jane still having holiday in Bali. How I wish Kaizer will be back soon & at least I have one friend to accompany with.

Mummy wanted to test whether I can adapt well if she is not ard so Mummy went to hide in one corner while I was changing my diaper in the changing room. Mummy keep peeping on & off to see what am I doing. I happened to see mummy standing outside the door. I tried to open the door but failed bcox it was too high for me to reach. After I came out, I couldnt see mummy & I started to panic & cired & searching for mummy. In the end, I saw mummy siting at one corner & I quickly went to hug mummy. I was crying so badly that I need mummy to carry & comfort me.

Guess, it really takes some time for me to get use to the school. Hopefully the 3rd day of school will be a smooth one for me.

1st Day Orientation - 2 Jan 2009

It was my first day of orientation at school & I were told to arrived after 9am
because it is their peak period for arrival of most children for the 1st day and coming back to school after a holiday break. Most of the teachers might be anticipating some crankiness in some of the children, hence the teachers might be occupied in receiving children, settling them, and or attending to parents between that timing, and as such, may not be able to do a proper class orientation for us.

It was totally a new environment for me & I seem to be roaming around the school & playing with all the toys around the class. Guess mummy was beside me all the while so I was behaving quite well in the school.
